Hey there!

My name is Nela Duprat, my friends call me Nelly. I am a Registered Nurse and Certified Lactation Consultant. I am very passionate about helping moms in their breastfeeding journey so they can nourish their babies. I am an advocate for breastfeeding and will do my best to help each and every mama who needs or seeks advice.

I had a rough start with breastfeeding my baby girl because she was not gaining weight and her pediatrician was advising me to “just give her formula.” I then realized how many moms find themself in my situation and they just give up breastfeeding because the medical professionals fail to help mothers when they need it most. That was one of the reasons why I decided to become a Lactation Consultant.

My husband, Jason, is a nurse practitioner who specialized in Nurse Anesthesiology he has spent the last 5 years working on a Labor and delivery unit. He now runs the Healthcare Entrepreneur Academy (Business and the Podcast) and our goal is to make a difference in people's lives.
